Irena Cronin
CEO
Irena Cronin serves as CEO of Transformation Group which advises decision makers on business strategies related to Artificial Intelligence, Augmented and Virtual Reality, Machine Learning, Facial Recognition, Robotics, Autonomous Vehicles, and related disruptive technologies. Cronin is also the President and CEO of Spout Reality, an augmented and virtual reality consulting company which provides strategy, research and marketing services for both AR/VR Companies and Fortune 500 companies who are investing in AR/VR. Previous to this, she worked several years as an equity research analyst with extensive experience at valuating both public and private companies.
Cronin has a Joint MBA in Finance/MA in East Asian Area Studies from the University of Southern California and an MS in Information Technology – Management and Systems from New York University. She graduated with a BA from the University of Pennsylvania with a major in Economics (summa cum laude). She has near-fluent proficiency in Mandarin, intermediate in Japanese and beginning in Korean.
Kristi Hansen Onkka
Founder, healthiAR
Kristi Hansen Onkka is an early evangelist of the use of VR and AR for health and patient care. She founded healthiAR.com to help connect AR/VR developers and the healthcare community. She has been a marketer for over 20 years, helping pharmaceutical and device manufacturers navigate customer adoption of innovative technologies.
Onkka is also an adjunct instructor at West Virginia University in the Reed College of Media IMC master’s degree program. In addition to teaching social media and healthcare marketing, she has developed and taught a course on augmented and virtual reality in integrated marketing communications. She is certified in Quality Matters and a recognized leader in quality assurance for online education.
At Transformation Group, Onkka heads up the recently formed AR Medical Education Group and leads marketing for our educational and media products and services.
